Siddharth Is Interested In Fun- Films...

Most actors sign on a film if their role in it is impressive. But Siddharth says that he signed on Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru (TVSK) for the director. “I did the film because I wanted to work with Sundar C. I saw his Kalakalappu and loved it. I wanted to be part of a fun film. The script was very sweet and I felt it would be a good family audience picture,” says the actor.

He says that TVSK is an uncomplicated film. “It’s a cute, feel-good romantic comedy. I play Kumar, a shy software company employee who has a problem talking to girls. It was a fun role with more moments of silence than dialogue to perform,” he says. Earlier this year, the actor impressed everyone with his Bollywood comedy Chashme Baddoor, which was directed by David Dhawan, who is known for his comedy films. Sundar C too is a veteran in the genre, and Siddharth says that he learned a lot about planning and executing multiple actor shoots without much stress from the filmmaker. “He, like David, is unpretentious and wants to make the audience have a good time. I have learnt so much from both these directors,” he remarks.
