Tribute To Salim-Javed

From the time the first theatrical of Aurangzeb went online and created a huge buzz, everyone has been speculating the film being remake of Trishul (1978).

When Atul Sabharwal, the debutante director was confronted on this piece of news, he dismissed the rumors and said, “If anything it’s similar in treatment to Deewar. Aurangzeb is an ode to Salim saheb and Javed saheb’s writings. Its tribute to their cinema.” Aurangzeb very interestingly set in land mafia or the upsurge of Gurgaon from a small village on map to India’s one of the biggest and fastest growing cities.
